Wow! Thank you for providing this. Presumably Solar Fire can also push personal transits and progressions to Google Calendar too. Will investigate :-)

Graham - Yes, you can make all kinds of calendars with Solar Fire. I've made personal ones too. This calendar is run through a few perl scripts and Word macros I wrote to clean up what I considered things that needed changing.

Good luck!

Hats off to you! This is an excellent calendar and a very useful tool. I am currently working on a few custom calendars with local data from the USNO site, but this takes the cake. Thank you!

Thank you, Nancy! I was searching just for a table of "moon void of course"-times and found this full blown "have it all in my calendar"... great! Yes, "someone" will use the fruit of your work! Thanks a lot, from Germany!

Nancy, I don't know how I stumbled across Your Calendar, but I am so happy that I did. I did notice that the calendar does not have any dates past August of 2016. do you have any plans in the future to update the Astrological events? I have not contributed in any way to your website... ( do you still study astrology?) but I am very grateful for the chance to be able to track my personal moon transits. Thank you so much!!!!

All the best for this next year!

So wonderful! thank you so much...! Do you have another blog? or are you continuing to practice astrology?

Thanks for your comments. I don't do readings anymore as I am busy now with other things. But I still use the transits myself, and developed the calendar as a tool for my own use. I still do charts for friends when I think it will help. I do have another website for my software developer career at: Schorr Media

Hey... this is great. Would like to do the same for other places like here in London! How is this done, can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Go into your Google Calendar settings and set your time zone for GMT 0 - London. The calendar should then display in your correct time zone.

To redo the calendar is complex, and not necessary.

Hope that helps. Thanks for your feedback!

Thanks for this! I've had it for a while but get overwhlemed with all the moon aspects. Is there a way to switch them off? I've been looking for a way to filter them out but can't seem to find one.

That's great feedback about the Moon transits. I'll look for a way to turn them off.

Hello all,

Does anyone here know what Timezone this Calendar is actually in or does it adjust based on where you Live automatically?

The moon is the fastest planetary body, so it creates a lot of aspects that overwhelm the calendar. Is it possible to limit it to when it enters and remains in a sign?

Hi, thanks for this fantastic resource! I recently learned how to use Solar Fire to generate my personal transits calendar, but I am having some formatting issues (run-on words) when I import the calendar (into Google or Outlook). Might I ask, how did you edit the interpretations file to make changes to the spelling/grammar, and did you have any formatting issues that you were able to resolve? Thanks!

4/07/2022 11:03 PM

Nancy Schorr said…

Thanks for your comment. Look in the Solar Fire manual for how to edit the interpretations. There's a menu item. You just need to find it.

I actually post-process the calendar code to fix the errors. I originally did it with Word macros. Then that became a Java program. There were other things besides spelling errors to fix so the post-processing is necessary.
